Drumore Mill, Drumore PA Styled Shoot | Julie & Erdwin

This styled shoot Autumnal Glow was awesome! This is what I'm talking about. Sure I love the pastel colors for weddings, but what about all the other colors???!!? The reds, yellows, oranges, browns, the off whites...there is so much to work with! There is a reason that fall is the most beautiful season, the leaf colors! That's exactly what Autumnal Glow was capturing.

Jessah organized this shoot, and it is unmatched in its beauty. There was such attention to detail with every little piece of the day, including bringing coffee for all the vendors for there hard work! That seems to be her claim to fame, her attention to detail is unmatched in this industry as far as I've seen. It's all important to her, and that is truly what is needed in this industry. On your wedding day, every moment...down to the smallest, is important.

The couple, Julie and Erdwin, were the shinning example of patience and love. This couple was so patient throughout the day! Willing and happy to accommodate us with any shot, I was a bit beside myself trying to capture everything. Just look at their eyes! Look at how they look into each other's eyes. It is truly mesmerizing the love between these two!

Set at the Drumore Mill, it was a dreamy mix of a cozy home with endless breathtaking scenery. We shot there all day, and it could never do justice to this venue. There is so much detail everywhere! I was torn between trying to capture every bit of the venue, the waterfall, the styled shoot, and of course the couple!

Shout out to the wifey!!! Jessah Rose was in her glory with fall leaves and coffee. All the vendors did such hard work to make this dream of a day a reality! I can't ever get enough footage, and there isn't enough hard drive space to capture this beautiful shoot. However, we can sure try to capture this shoot, so here we go with the full film!

P.S. So you want to know the dirty details of our camera mishap? Don't tell Jessah I told you, but while pursuing an epic shot at the waterfall at Drumore Mill, she crossed the small river. While crossing in her crocs! (LOL!!!) she slipped and dunked all her Nikon equipment. Nikon makes a good camera, but I'm pretty sure swimming isn't in the brochure.

Didn't matter though, luckily the SD cards she shot on were ok. The cameras...ehhh. That's what we got insurance for, right? I was super impressed how she didn't throw in the towel, and we finished out the day for the styled shoot. No camera in her hand, she was still all smiles because this styled shoot was something she dreamed of for a while!

With Nikon out of the picture, I was trying to convince her to go Panasonic like me. Not successful, although she did finally go mirrorless with a new Sony! O yea, now we're talking. With a nice new equipment upgrade, I'm excited to see her work in the future. Equipment doesn't make you a good photographer, but it certainly helps!!! Cheers to the wifey for being a strong lady.
