One weekend, Krystelle and I hopped around Madison, NJ. We met at the Museum of Early Trades & Crafts. I'm so happy they allowed photography! It was such a tiny place but we got some pretty shots. The yellow casts from the indoor lights made me want to experiment with different color palettes than I normally would. I have been trying numerous styles of editing, from light to dark, from super warm tone to very bright. I am trying to find the sweet spot that compliments the work that I have been doing, as well as makes my heart sing. I have always loved the light and airy style, but can't make it work for all of my images at this point. Part of me is drawn to very dark images since it is something I haven't seen until recently.
After the museum, we ran over to Drip coffee and chatted a bit as we shot. Krystelle has such a fun and bubbly personality. It instantly felt like we have been long time friends since she was so welcoming! After the coffee shop, we headed outside to brave the cold. I saw a huge American flag when driving through town earlier and all I could hear in my head was, "BOOOORRRNNNN IN THE USA!" I knew I definitely wanted pictures with it!
Krystelle was such a ball of joy and energy! Check out our shoot below!
